What is forex cashback and how do rebates work?
Forex cashback (also called a forex rebate) is money paid back to you for every lot you trade. You keep trading with the same broker, the same platform and the same spreads. The only difference is that you open your account through a cashback provider, who passes part of its partner commission back to you.
Where does the money come from?
Brokers pay introducing partners a commission for every client they refer. That commission comes out of the broker's own revenue, not out of your account. A cashback provider simply shares that commission with you instead of keeping all of it. Your trading conditions do not change.
How is cashback calculated?
Most providers pay per closed lot: one lot opened and closed counts once. The amount depends on the instrument, because brokers pay different commissions on currencies, metals, indices and crypto. Do I get cashback on losing trades?
Yes. Cashback is based on volume, not on profit or loss, so every closed trade counts. That is why active traders use rebates to lower their overall trading costs.
Is forex cashback safe?
A legitimate cashback provider never asks for your trading password and cannot access your funds. It only sees the volume the broker reports. Check that the provider is an official partner of the broker and that its payout rules are written down clearly.

No. Your spreads, commissions and execution are the same as opening directly with the broker.
When is cashback paid?
